Gilmer County Superior Court

Gilmer County Court Calendars
The Appalachian Circuit calendar page posts Superior Court calendars and hearing-setting notes. Rule Nisi requests for civil matters are presented to the assigned judge, who may set the hearing or direct the party or attorney to the Clerk of Superior Court to set the matter on a regular civil nonjury date. Matters exceeding two hours require authorization from the judge directly. Criminal cases may also be set by presenting a Rule Nisi to the Clerk of Superior Court, with longer matters requiring judge authorization.

Calendar note: The circuit page states that incarcerated defendants participate by WebEx only until further order for certain criminal hearings.
Gilmer County Family Court Records
Superior Court has exclusive authority over divorce in Georgia, so Gilmer County divorce files are Superior Court records.
